Your American Red Cross helps to save and rebuild lives throughout north central Florida every day. Did you know that the American Red Cross receives no government funding of any kind? It is only with the financial support of the communities we serve that we are able to carry out our mission of helping families prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies.

• A donation of $50 will give a youngster the opportunity to receive training on how to be a good babysitter. It will also help a child learn to swim.
• A donation of $175 will purchase one week's groceries for a family of 5 burned out of their home.
• For a donation of $1000, a family of 4 left homeless by a disaster will be provided with shelter, food and clothing for a month
